Again this year numerous guides and specialized reviews have done us the honour of including our restaurant: here are some articles.
In Meglio
The Caveau, near the ancient theatre, opens its doors to a specialized cuisine.
In viaggio tra i ristoranti Apuani
An ancient palace in Pontremoli hosts this jewel of Lunigiana, which welcomes its visitors in two small rooms with fireplace, Venetian stucco and stone walls with vault ceilings.
La Guida d'Italia
The two refined and intimate small rooms (one of them with a fireplace) are situated in the basement of a soaring seventeenth century tower where some comfortable rooms have been rearranged to make ones stay even more pleasant.
Guida d'Italia 2002
A creative cuisine, a valid wine menu, courtesy and professionalism in a lovely restaurant placed in a seventeenth century palace behind the Teatro della Rosa.
Guida Oro 2002
Recommended dishes: rice and cabbage cream; roast duck in dill sauce; passatelli (type of pasta) in broth; potato tortelli in a cream of parmisan cheese sauce; duck confit with pickled fruit from Cremona; leg of lamb in an orange sauce; lamb cutlets in a capper crust. Dishes for two people: porcini mushroom risotto.
Gambero Rosso - Girone dei Golosi
The restaurant is very cosy, in a seventeenth century palace. The kitchen is run by Amedeo Poletti, whereas the restaurant is run by his sister, an exceptionally hospitable Fernanda [Brother and sister form a great team, outgoing and welcoming in a land which is rather reserved land].
